Why a blog?

Calling all Den Moms, Cub Scouts, Leaders and Parents... we have fun news to share! At least it always feels that way. What better way to share and coordinate then with the help of a blog. The idea is that this Blog will be our troops calendar and journal. Leaders will all be invited as contributors to post upcoming events, share things that are happening with the Cubs, highlight an individual boys success...the possibilities are limitless. Parents and Grandparents, siblings and friends will all be able to see what awesome fun their favorite scout is up to. Those with Fathers that are deployed will be able to share their success though thousands of miles a part. I am really hopeful that this blog will become an excellent tool for troop 494!
