Anthony likes being a Cub Scout

Something I remember in Boy Scouts is that when I was in Michigan, I was in the regatta boat race. I was the only person who made the boat. Another thing that I remember at day camp in Michigan. We were doing archery practice and a storm was coming. The water slides were so high that we had to climb up handles to get to the top. Here in Washington, on the last day of camp we did a three mile hike. I really like being a Boy Scout.

Cub Scouts by Harris Swasey

My overall experience with cub scouts has been excellent. One thing I have especially liked is going to the Wash jam. Once there, I went camping, prospecting, and doing lots of other neat things. I have also enjoyed the grand prix pinewood derby. The first pinewood derby car I ever had was a yellow and black car that was number 63.
The most recent pinewood derby I had was a silver car that I like to call “Hybrid’.
Now, I am in Webelos scouts. My favorite part of it so far was getting my first pin, my outdoorsman pin.

Cub Scout camp was lots of fun.

Cub Scout camp was fun because tug of war is one of my favorite games to play. It got pretty hard when they started spraying us. Capture the flag was pretty fun to along with the skits. I wish we could have played longer, it seems so long ago.
Arts were my second favorite place to go. I liked our first one we ever made, the boats. Then it was the toolboxes. All in all, playing sports was my favorite.

My Favorite Scout Experience

My favorite scout experience was going to scout camp in Puyallup. Some of the activities we did included shooting guns, shooting bows and arrows, carving soap, and making wooden whistles. We went to camp from 9:00 in the morning until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. We had to bring a sack lunch and we would eat with our group that we did the activities with. On the the last day of camp they brought a dunk tank. That was pretty cool and the water was freezing cold. We had to prepare a skit to perform on the last day of camp. Our families were able to come watch the skits. This camp was fun and I was able to learn a lot of new things.
